How it works
Twice a month you’ll get a fresh text-based pronunciation lesson. Free members can read the full lesson and listen with a voiced audiogram and English subtitles. Paid members get everything above plus a second audiogram (the IPA* version - see how words are pronounced), an audio-only file for screen-off practice and can comment and ask me questions. Every fourth lesson is fully unlocked for free subscribers so you can try the complete experience.
*What is IPA?
The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) shows you exactly how a word is pronounced - these are the same symbols used in English dictionaries. In the IPA audiogram, each word appears in these symbols, helping you clearly distinguish sounds that don’t exist in Japanese, and train your ear for natural English speech.

Do I need to know IPA to benefit from full access?
No. IPA is just there if you want it. The special audiogram lets you see and hear how each sound works - you’ll start to recognise the symbols naturally as you use it.
